Head and Crest

The crest must be in the shape of a horse-shoe. The crest extends forward from above the eyes.

The crest must be symmetrical from it commencement in the centre of the head.

The transition of the crest to the nape/neck must be smooth-feathered (close-fitting) without any trace of a crest.

The “plainhead” has a proportionately large head, slightly rounded and showing eyebrows. Grizzled and dark crests are allowed.


Body

Slim and elegant. The breast and the back are slightly rounded.


Position

Erect, the back is slightly rounded.


Size

Not to be in excess of 12 cm.


Plumage

Smooth and close-fitting to the body.


Legs

Legs are fine, delicate and slightly flexed. The thighs are just visible.


Tail

Well folded and slightly forked.


Condition

In a good health and clean. Uniform colour, yellow, red and white, buff and intensive. No variegation is allowed except in the crest.
