Body (Shape)/ Chest/ Wings

Long, thin and harmonious body. Slightly and uniformly rounded chest. Straight back, in the same line of the tail. Long wings, carried closed to the body without crossing, meeting just at the root of the tail.


Crest (Crested Harlequin)

Three-horn shaped crest (2 angles at the back and 1 virtual at the front) coming from the top of the head and then falling symmetrically without covering the eyes and the beak.


Head (Plainhead Harlequin)

 Long and thin head, straightening the skull towards the beak.


Beak

Strong and proportionate.


Eyes

Bright and well visible


Neck

Well moulded, pointing out very clearly the head and body


Size

16 cm.


Colour

Variegated, multicoloured with presence of the red factor. Balanced presence of melanin and lipochrome. Artifical colouring is obligatory.


Plumage

Compact, smooth, silky, glossy and adherent to the body.


Position/Movement

Erect standing (55º angle) and haughty. Elevated body. Alert and jaunty, moving confidently

 

Legs

Strong, long, slightly bent and preferably variegated. Well visible thighs.


Tail

Long, thin, slightly bifurcated at the tips, and preferably variegated.


General Condition

Clean and healthy. Liveliness and good adaption to the show cage.
